Delete your account

Last updated: October 18, 2026

This page explains how to delete your account in Kamby - Learn Khmer, the app published by Raphael Saing, and what happens to your data. It is the same on Android and iPhone.

In the app

  1. Open Kamby.
  2. Go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
  3. Confirm.

Your account is deleted straight away. This works for guest accounts too.

Without the app

Send an email to support@kamby.app with the subject “Delete my account”. Write from the email address of your account, or tell us how you signed in (email, Apple or Google). We may ask you to confirm the request. We delete the account and confirm by email within one month at the latest.

What is deleted

  • Your account and your sign-in details: your email address, and the name and picture link that Apple or Google shared when you signed in with them.
  • Your profile: display name and app language.
  • Your learning progress, the memory strength of each word, your streaks and statistics.
  • Your usage events and crash diagnostics.
  • Your notification token.
  • Any screenshot attached to a problem report (iPhone only).

What is kept

  • Problem reports: the message you wrote and the text record of the screen stay, without your identity — the link to your account is removed. We keep them because they document the fixes we made to the course.
  • Backups: deleted data can stay for up to 8 days in our daily database backups, then it is gone.

Good to know

  • Deleting your account does not cancel a Kamby Gold subscription. Cancel it where you bought it (on iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions).
  • A guest account that is not used for 90 days is deleted automatically, with its data.
  • More details: our privacy policy. Questions: support@kamby.app.
